
The club announced today, via the official website, that it has completed deals for Leonardo Bonucci and Jorge Martinez.
Bonucci joins for €15.5 million, payable over the next three seasons. He was at Bari who ended the co-ownership agreement with Genoa last Friday, and was an unused member of the Italian World Cup squad. He has finalised a five year contract in Turin.
The 23 year old central defender was originally at Inter, who bought him from Viterbese in 2006, before selling half his rights to Treviso after just one appearance. He was then sold to Genoa in 2009, who in turn sold half his playing rights to Bari where he excelled alongside Andrea Rannocchia.
Martinez joins from Catania for a fee of €12 million, also to be paid over the next three years. The 27 year old Uruguayan is a winger or attacking midfield, who signed a four year contract with Juventus, has spent the last three years at Catania, scoring 25 goals in 86 Serie A matches.
